Boredom

Have you ever thought really hard about boredom? Yeah, me neither. But let me tell you, boredom is one of the worst things ever. Believe it or not, I actually believe there are different types of boredom.

One type of boredom is the boredom you get when you are stuck somewhere with nothing to do. Imagine, you are in an empty room, with no iPod, computer, TV, video games, literally NOTHING to do. Not even a pencil to draw with or a book to read. What are you going to do? Well, you could always result to daydreaming. No matter where you are or how bored you are, you always have your imagination. You could simply think, create stories in your mind, come up with new ideas.

Another type of boredom is a very common form of boredom, and that's the kind of boredom you get at school. The kind of boredom you get when your history teacher is rambling on and on about China. However, there's hope! You have a pencil, don't you? Then the simple answer is doodling! Yes, doodling. Draw whatever you want, let your mind go wild. Of course, you still have your imagination, too. You could always still result to daydreaming. The only negative about doodling and daydreaming is that you have to be cautious, or the teacher might catch you dozing off.

The final type of boredom I'm going to talk about is the worst kind of boredom to me. It's when you have everything you need to not be bored, but you just don't feel like doing anything. Like, when you decide to watch TV but in a few minutes you don't want to watch TV anymore, so you decide to go on the internet. You browse the internet for perhaps an hour or so and before you know it you want to play video games. Then, you try to satisfy your boredom by playing video games but you end up getting bored again.

I was obviously bored while writing this, but next time you find yourself bored with nothing to do just take these tips in mind.
